Voyage

Here´s the first page of my new comic story. This time I wanted to show you the process, from the sketch to the final result, the third pic is how this graphic look in traditional Japanese style, I didn´t like it, so I experimented a lot with the looks and colors, till I got something I really like, the last pic shows the result of that experimentation and this is how the whole story looks now, bright and colorful as clear as a day on the beach.

The story is called "VOYAGE" and is about four guys that got lost in the Pacific Ocean after a terrible storm. Their sailboat sink and they landed in a distant island, and the story begins here, when Jacques finds Paulo (The guy in the graphics) unconscious at the shore.

I´m going to publish this and Max stories later this year, this one is already finished but Max is a revel and keeps me working 24/7, what a bad boy, he´s asking for a good spanking :P

Thank you for your patience and remember I keep working on that bloody gallery and the download section on my few free moments, hope to open it soon.

Thanks for showing your process. How do you determine what order to add the colors in? Are there any changes to the shading that you added in the step before last (because it looks like there are)?

Kisses

A friend told me the exactly same swept away thing Toni, but believe me, the guys in my story take emotions much further, and they never sing "Com´on-a my house" LOL

I know Paul, this sounds like that NatGeo tv show " I Didn't Know That" hehehe.

I determine the colors by distant factor Sue, in other words, the farthest objects are the first to get the color, then texture, shades and at the end the lights(in this case the shirt was the last thing I did), after that if the drawing needs an extra shade I finished with this, but all depends on the drawing I´m painting(hope this answer your questions :P), this is not a rule, it´s just the process I follow with the comics, for my more realistic graphics, the process is a lil bit different, I´ll show you that later, promise.

Kisses to all and besitos to Toni :)
